DLS Lighting US Limited Warranty Policy

LED FIXTURE 5 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

This Limited Warranty of DLS Lighting US applies strictly to the products manufactured by DLS Lighting and does not apply to any other equipment or devices that may be associated with the Product that is manufactured by others. The term “Product” means a DLS Lighting US fixture product. All fixtures are manufactured from new parts and materials.

DLS LIGHTING US warrants Products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from date of purchase when in normal use, when properly installed and maintained during the warranty period. If failure should occur during the warranty period, DLS Lighting US will repair or replace, at its option, any Product that is proven to be defective. This warranty extends to the original purchaser only.

The “Seller” (DLS Lighting US) does not warrant the LED driver but passes on the LED Driver Warranty from the “original manufacturer”. This (5) five year Warranty is backed by the driver manufacturer and subject to their conditions. See specific manufacturer website for details.

The warranties are condition of proper installation, proper use, and proper maintenance of the Product and do not include modifications to the Product, power surges, or overheating due to external conditions. Normal wear and tear on the Product is not covered by any warranty.
For any of the foregoing warranties to be valid, the applicable products must be installed and/or used in accordance with applicable National or Local Electrical Codes, and in accordance with the general use and practices set forth in the Seller’s literature and instruction information for such product. The Seller disclaims any liability for product warranty or product liability claims that are due to product misuse, improper product selection or misapplication. The Seller shall not be liable for any delay in or impairment of performance resulting in whole or in part from any circumstance or cause beyond its control.

Warranty Claims Process

In order to present a warranty claim for a Product failure or malfunction, the original purchaser must notify DLS Lighting US “in writing” of the warranty claim. The notice must be made within 30 days of the malfunction or Product failure and contain a copy of the original purchase order or receipt. This claim notice must be emailed to: diane@dlslightingus.com. Please include the words “Warranty Claims Department” to help streamline the claims process.
